Rachel is a New York-based playwright and freelance writer formerly working as the senior staff writer for BET Digital News (A Viacom Network). Recent editorials can be seen in publications such as Elite Daily, TV Guide, and others.

In 2019, she was a finalist for the CBS Writer’s Mentoring Program. In 2020, she competed in the Fresh Fruit Festival’s Monologue Project, where she was awarded the audience favorite. She was a finalist in the prolific 2022 Disney TV writing program. In July 2022, Rachel's play RED RED WINE will premiere in The Fire This Time Festival (NYC).
