Rachel is a New York-based playwright and freelance writer formerly working as the senior staff writer for BET Digital News (A Viacom Network). Recent editorials can be seen in publications such as Elite Daily, TV Guide, and others.

She's been named a finalist for the CBS Writer’s Mentoring Program (2019) and the prolific Disney TV writing program (2022).  Her playwriting has been featured in the Fresh Fruit Festival’s Monologue Project (voted audience favorite) and The Fire This Time Festival (2022). During the 2022-2023 season, she will take part in the Playground Theater writer's pool and the Colt Coeur playwriting residency.
